Shifting Into Third

We bribed the GM with food, and have now officially completed Milestone 2 of Munchkin: The Video Game!  This means that pre-production is officially over.  Now, armed with the cheese grater of peace, and a pointy hat of power, we dive deeper into the dungeon. Content, gameplay, physics, animations, and artificial intelligence await us in the upcoming months.

Munchkin Design Full Time

We’ve been working on the design of Munchkin for the Xbox 360 off and on for about a year now. But had to “clean our plate” of other projects before really putting our backs into Munchkin. So over the course of this holiday season we are kicking it into high gear! I want to get this puppy done so I can play it!

We have a plan to execute the project, but now I just need to get everyone involved on the same page so we can build this monster with as few hiccups as possible. I’ve been typing a lot in Word lately and sketching UI designs and layout. (Also I’ve been cringing a lot because at this stage the graphics look like…how do I put it…ass.) Anyway, the info is there and I know that the content will improve once we block out the whole game first. We have a tech demo built with a generic human Munchkin character running around a dungeon and bumping into walls and such, but I’m looking forward to playing against someone soon.
